What is a doula?
A doula is a trained birth professional who provides information, emotional comfort and hands on support throughout pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period.
As your birth doula…
it is my priority that you feel safe, supported and cared for in your pregnancy. Our time together will be centered around the goals you have for your birth.
I’ll share evidence based information to educate you on your choices and assist you in asking questions to your care team.
We’ll discuss and practice relaxation techniques & comfort measures to assist you during labor, regardless of your choice in pain management.
Ultimately we’ll look to your inner knowing when it comes to creating a birth plan and discussing your preferences during labor.

As your doula, I’m here as an open and unbiased listener, honoring your unique experience of pregnancy and birth. I lead with compassion and care and a grounded presence that allows you to feel supported in your choices.

After discussing your preferences and gaining your consent, I offer hands on support to ease tension, bring comfort, and help you stay connected to your body as each wave of labor unfolds.

A doula will never replace your partner, but will support them to feel more confident in the birth space. I know birth, your partner knows you & together we make the perfect team!
Birth Doula Package Includes:
Talk & text support from the time of hire
2-3 prenatal visits to prepare for birth & find comfort in pregnancy
24/7 on call support starting at 37 weeks
In person support throughout birth & initial 2-3 hours postpartum
Detailed notes and photos of your birth experience
1 in-person postpartum visit
6 weeks talk and text support postpartum
